Aftermarket SIRIUS w/ OEM Head Unit

http://www.logjamelectronics.com/sounkbmwsirv2.html

Came across this on the net while looking for a Sirius kit for the MINI. Can anyone confirm that this, added with the Kenwood tuner would work with the MINI, and display Song/Channel data on the Factory Head Unit?

M

Sounds interesting....$100 for the interface, $100 for the tuner, $60 for
and antenna, and they say it works with the MINI stock head unit.
Will it work with the stock cassette head unit too?...(that's what I have).
Anybody have this yet?

This adapter normally sells for $80-100.

The Kenwood KTC-SR903 is $79.99 (lower when its on sale)
and that INCLUDES THE ANTENNA.

I also think that you get a $50 www.nfl.com giftcard.

I have a freiend that has this and it does work.

$120 for the SoundGate adapter (KBMWSIRV2)

$50 receiver + antenna

Mount the receiver in the boot, stash the adapter inside the removable panel.

No channel title or song displays on the head unit, only the channel number. Steering wheel controls work.

HELP With Install

I currently have all of the items listed. My First Mistake is that I had Tweeter install everything. I think they messed it up becuase I have an external display unit that I use to change the channels. The Kenwood unit is connected using a Blitzsafe addaptor. The head unit must be in CD Changer mode to hear the Sirius Stations. I would like to get rid of the Kenwood display and use the Steering wheel to change the channels. PLEASE HELP!!

There must be an output running from the tuner to the external receiver, rather than just to the CD changer... I think... unplug that and see what happens

SAT1 & SAT2

I am hearing that some people have SAT1 & SAT2 options on the head unit. I have an 04 Hk unit. I don't see that option. Do I have a different Head Unit.
