JCW Sprint Booster Gen 3
Never used one. It's always interesting how so many people hate the damn thing and have never used one, they talk theory. I'd be curious to try it but honestly with a Dinan piggyback module in Sport+ mode and then putting the car into sport mode it is twitchy and in no need of any extra pedal input. Same dollars as the Sprint Booster so you might want to consider that as well.
Dinan in race mode and sport button pushed is more than I can handle.
If you do go for it, love to read a review.

I'm happy with it. There are lots of adjustments, so you can tune how aggressive you want it. I'm only running at green 3. The green is the street setting, the red is race. Each color has 9 settings to adjust the agressiveness. I've got a JB+ also. I can't afford to shut down my car for 2 days to send the ECU out for a tune.
And I'm not into the pop and burble in sport mode, so thats why I don't use sport. Driving to work at 500 AM, I don't need people looking at me as I come up to corners.
Sorry I'm trolling in the JCW area....
Have fun,
Mike

So is the use of a sprint booster a cheap way out from getting a tune? Because I plan on getting a manic tune once I get my mods going but did think about getting a SB in the mean time, but after seeing some of the posts here im not sure it would be needed.
I just got one for my 2011 mccs and i love it, never want to drive without it again.
When i pull out of my street onto a 2 lane 50mph road i had to floor it to not get run over in traffic, now i i only have to give it less than half throttle. Obviously its not making the car faster but i come from the musclecars world and this car felt pathetic when i 1st got it because of that. In a musclecar you almost never need to give over half throttle on the street (my last car was a 800hp cobra). Now its alot more like that (i keep it set at race 9).
I also used to own a hotrod shop and did tuning and there is a science behind it. Its not “just” making the throttle open sooner, it’s actually making it open faster (we tested this on a CTS-V). That extra speed i feel is what makes it “feel” faster and is worth it in my opinion. No matter what we did to the tune on that car we could not replicate the speed of of the throttle opening with the sprint booster.
just my .02 tho
