You should always take companies power gains with a grain of salt. Some do some shady things to show gains.

Dyno results are always welcome to support such claims (otherwise how would they arrive at a number?)

AFE's two dyno's were done months apart. Humidity was over 20% less when they dyno'ed with their intake. Also both dyno's were done with the hood open so completely pointless dyno's unless you drive with your hood open.

Up to 13hp. So, anything between 0 and 13 increase would be truthful. Just looking at it, I don't buy the 13 number.

THANK YOU!! Under hood temps, especially in traffic, can rise and defeat any potential gains. K&N also did their dynos with the bonnet open.

I always advise people that if they want the sound, or the under hood look, spend the $ on an intake. But if they want a usable power gain, intakes only make sense if they are capturing outside air and if they are part of a complete upgrade including exhaust, tuning, and intake -- and even then...

Nice!! And outside air, and I bet it sounds right, too.
Certainly goes with all the other goodies you've got going on under there.

You hear it sputter every now and then, but it's not much louder than OEM. Just larger volume ducting and smoother flow to a free flowing filter. I've run the AWE intake and the CravenSpeed intake and didn't really care for the sound. Sounds like the car has the shivering fits. I was hoping Forge would come out with a version of their diverter/BOV like I had on my R56. That actually served a purpose to bleed off excess boost when shifting, making upshifts way smoother.

dont think high about these filters, as mentioned the temperatures under the hood are masive.

The gruppe m filter was choosen, as some of its part are good to install a real cold air ram system.

Thanks Dennis. Took three tries with OEM, CravenSpeed, and AWE before I was finally happy with my choice.
