My first question is can I swap in the stock cap. I do not trust these tank manufacturers to make the pressure release cap properly. There is no telling if the thread is the same as the plastic OE until you receive it and try. All too often the quality control is lacking and the thread can be poorly cut - and the stock cap can pop off under pressure. My strategy is buy the cheapest one on ebay as many look identical from the same slum factory in China/Vietnam/Laos/Washington DC countryside. The cheapest ones are $52 shipped.

Same tanks can be found on Amazon for similar price. You can ask the $59 question that I raised, and have better protection should you find it not live up to expectation.

As long as you go through paypal I think you'll be fine. Paypal is notoriously buyer-friendly.

I can't find the post that I saw it in, but the guy said he was very happy with the fit and finish. Experimenting should be super easy, just screw on the old cap when it arrives. If you have any hesitations or anything send it back.

I'm also not trying to defend this piece, only relaying another option that a member on here recommended in another thread. Don't put anything on your car that you're unsure of.

I am with you and thanks for bringing this up in the first place. I did a bit of browsing on Amazon and the
most expensive one for $89 is a smart seller selling without the "billet" AL cap most expensive one for $89 is a smart seller selling without the "billet" AL cap
and he points out you reuse the factory cap.

Because of these data points, I would incline getting one from thievebay for $52 shipped.
