go to a good bodyshop and they can sand the trim down, prime it, and can paint it.... its not a kit, rather it's something simple tat can be done at most autobody shops

These parts come in black plastic from the factory. You can order spare parts and have them painted to body color or anything else and have them installed on your MINI. Rough cost depends if you paint your side skirts and bumper trim to match or not and if you replace the skirts with aero parts or stock parts.

The price on stock trim parts is fairly cheap but the painting requires sanding and prepping that gets expensive. The stock parts are rough and don't take to paint well without smoothing it out.

Someday the aftermarket will offer trim pieces w/o texture already primed. I'll wait for that day.

for a twist, on my dark silver rig, the stock trim color works fine, so:

I took one of my stock trim parts to my autobody paint dealer and had a quart of PPG DBU basecoat mixed up to match. Then I sprayed the Aero skirts and all the stock trim pieces. Now they all match exactly: color and gloss. The only prep I did on the stock plastic was a thorough clean and Final Prep solution wipe down. I even sprayed most of them right on the car by slipping paper under the edges and or using masking tape.
