No Manual at delivery !!

All I received with my MCS was a cd-rom explaining how the pre-05 MINI's work, and a pamphlet about safety!!

And Actually, I have a question, even though it may sound stupid....
How do you set the clock on an 05 MINI ???
All I seam to be able to do is change between the clock and the travelled distance display.

You should have received a leatherette pouch with a cute, metal MINI logo on the front, containing the Owner's Manual, a Road Atlas/Dealer Directory, and a Service Warranty information booklet. Your MA should have gone over all of these with you at the time of delivery.

You should call down to Motorwerks MINI and talk to Patty, if she can't help you, no one can.

To set the clock...

Turn it to show the clock
Hold down the button until it asks if you want 12 or 24 hr
select by holding down button
then hour click through, hold down when done
same for minutes.

Strange you didn't get a manual. You need to get that squared away.

Good luck.

Actually... I didn't set my clock, I am just guessing. That is on my to-do list.

you are supposed to use the mini's speed to slow down the rotation of the earth and set the time to your clock. everyone knows that!

Our MA sat down with us and went through the books pretty well, and then we all sat in the MINI and played with all of the ***** and gizmos. He called the following day and asked if we had any questions.
The MINI documentaion is very good.
BTW, it is available for download from the Owner's Lounge at miniusa.com, along with the "unofficial" fun owner's manual.
I think the CD has everything the book has.

That sounds like your on-board computer... now I have an "old" MINI, ('02), but on my car, the clock is up on the ceiling by itself, while the distance function is on the stem off the steering wheel...

Godspeed.

old MINI... i didn't mean it that way !!

I didn't go through the walk through of all the stuff with my MA because I had to get to school. Should have thought, the least of my worries was getting the clock set right !

Thanks winechic.. my clock is now on time... was a good excuse for beeing late to work though.

No, its weird, in the glove box I had the leatherette pouch, sealed in plastic with the CD-Rom, a service manual and a pamplet about safety. But No Manual. I looked under the seats, in the trunk, everywhere. I guess I am the only this has happend too.
