F55/F56 ¿Is Way Motor Works closed?

¿Is Way Motor Works closed?

Hi,

I live in Colombia but last week (May 17) I was in US and placed and order (30702) for my F56, I have received the order confirmation but nothing happens:

- No charge in my US credit card.
- The phone number in the invoice 770-234-9965 is not working, just a voice message that it seems is from a another place.
- No response from PM's via forum.

It will great to know if one US member can confirm if there is a way to contact they or if someone have just talk of received recently a response from WMW.

Thanks trestles for your help, I have tried to reach via email (info@waymotorworks) on May 22, is it normal to take so long to answer about the order status?

He's busy with the shop ( email not best venue ) but always willing to bend an ear on the phone to discuss MINI stuff. Give him a call !!!

i believe his initial thread stated that he did try to call and the phone number was not in service. it seems to be the general consensus that the OP tried every method possible to communicate with WMW and it just seems odd that he a) can't get a hold of him and b) sees no charge on his CC for his order.

I was under impression Way ceased shipping any orders outside of the CONUS.....maybe why there is difficulty with his order.

Hi gRay rAven, thanks for your concern, the thing is the shipping address is inside US (Miami, FL).

I have a freight forwarder there and they received, inspect, re packed and send it to me here in Colombia.

I hope to get soon news from WMW, it has been too much time since I placed the order, I did it there because WMW is an active member of this forum.

Outmotoring also sells the Quafei LSD and de Milltek DP but I choose first for WMW, I hope to make it soon.

And one thing is clear: WMW is not closed, I guess...

YES we are OPEN and in Business for sure working very hard.

We have had phone issues in the last two weeks and put a note on the home page of the website as they can't seem to solve it 100% yet, but email is always the best to get ahold of us as we can easily be working on a MINI or on another line giving out advice.
Please check your email as we sent you and email the other day letting you know the issue. You have not been charged anything for your order.
I also talked to your friend earlier today on the phone and worked with him to hopefully get it handled. He was very nice by the way.

Please email us if you need anything else.
