1968 Mini Cooper 1330 Fast Road/Rally

Very nice genuine MK2 Cooper made to an S rally replica with Freshly rebuilt 1330 with new HIF 44, Kent 266 cam, Kent vernier timing kit, new 10:1 pistons, all new bearings, line bored block, 1.5 ratio rockers, Aldon Yellow, new clutch, ARP hardware, Innocenti rods (resized with ARP), K&N cone & billet stub, LCB, stainless RC40, rebuilt 940 head with KAD springs and bronze guides, new clutch, etc. Body is in excellent condition with very minimal rust under boot only. Paint is newer and in very good condition. Hydrolastic with S displacers, new shocks, brand new Alloy Four Pot disks with Greenstuff pads. Dual gas tanks with flip caps, wavy grill boot and front spots, NOS tail lights. The entire hydraulic system has been replaced and upgraded with braided stainless hoses, new clutch and brake masters, new clutch slave, everything new on the Cooper S back brakes, including new shoes, slaves, braided and hard hoses, etc. The interior has 150sf of Fatmat soundproofing under a new Newton carpet kit, Cobra Classics, etc. Honorable mention at the 2004 Central Coast British Car Show with nearly forty Minis entered. Comes with California if you are a California resident “B4 BMW.” Lots of extras and tons of money spent. I built this to keep forever but I have to sell now. I am asking $15,000 OBO.

that is really nice. I have aspirations to buy or build a car like yours. but junior is on the way he keeps me from buying toys for myself. what did you start with?

Wow, that is really beautiful. Someone's going to make off with a steal. I wish I had the money too, I'd buy it in a heartbeat, esp since I'm local. Good luck!

It's still for sale. We were just discussing it today in fact. For other cars for sale, you might check the minimania board http://www.minimania.com/ClassList.cfm http://www.minimania.com/ClassDealers.cfm

I absolutely love Snohomish by the way. My aunt lives and owns a restaurant in Marysville and I try to make it up there every year for the car show, not to mention the Snohomish Pie Company

You might also want to post on the MiniMania Classic board because I know of a few classic Mini owners in your area that may be able to help you search for one.

I love that show! My old boss would show his cars in it every year (Metro and a 1931 Chevrolet rod).

What part of CA are you in? I have family down that way and a family friend who is a car nut that's always willing to check things out for me.

Also, what is the headroom like with the roll bar? I'm six foot four and the thought of banging my head on a car doesn't sound very fun.

Beautiful car. Next, to convince the wife it's worth the trip to CA.

Todd

The headroom is pretty good but I have a very thick high density roll bar pad just in case! I live in Irvine, which is sort of near Disneyland (if you need a landmark.) I just took a bunch of photos today. If you want to PM me your email address or email me at: inim_mini @ yahoo.com (leave out the spaces) I will shoot some photos over to you.
