Do you have trouble removing the cat or it's hairs?

Cat: Unfortunately, once they find a comfortable spot, they'll keep on going to that area.

Cat Hairs: Use a sticky lint roller. Its easy and will also pick up lose dirt.

...or just wrap some duct tape around your fingers sticky side out.
Oh, and there are lots of ways to make cats disappear.

masking tape costs less and works fine (maybe better .. DT glue can be STRONG)

(this is what the Military Honor Guards in DC use!)

I covered spousal unit's floor mats with masking tape and peeled off (has a dog that goes in her car ... NOT mine) and she chastised me for wasting money on new floor mats .....

I used a tape style lint roller to get dust hair and other things off. Make sure the cats dont get up there, they can and I have seen them claw the top and the rear trunk trims that are $$$ on the back side. You can get some spray for cats and spray it around the garage floor. It's like a citrus spray or something.

Get some of that carpet runner that has the pointed dimples on the underside. It’s about two feet wide and pretty cheap run a couple of rows along the top and the cats won’t like the sharp points. The only other permanent solution I can think of involves firearms.

Well once you clean up the hair ... hang one of these over the car , it will stop the cats from coming back...

Motor On!

I would say pick it up, toss it outside and close the door?

Lots of things repel cats. Just get creative. Anything that makes them feel uncomfortable will work.
