I recently purchased a 2006 R53. Way of Way Motor Works told me to check or replace the Damper Crank Pulley. So I bought an ATI one from him to have ready so when my garage is finished, I could swap it out. Yesterday the stock pulley broke before my garage was done so I just changed it out in the backyard.
Back in service in a couple hours. If not for Way's recommendation, I would be waiting for the part.
Just ordered mine tonight from waymotorworks. Last piece I needed
Already shipped, Thanks

It's more that they are all 10yr+old rubber that is drying out and failing. We've seen them fail as low as 60k, and up to 200k with every mileage in between. So it's not a will it, more of when is it going to fail.
