Pimped my Driving Lights

I like the old MINI Driving lights with the mesh cages but thought they might be too "Rally" for a track car. These are Harley covers. Not mounted yet...but you get the idea...

What do you think? Cool or too far?

I think we can now identify you by your reflection in the chrome trim. The black slats clash with the front grill and everything else. To busy IMO but then again its your car and most of the time you are behind the wheel.

btw - the wheels are really nice!

My next door neighbour! You might be right about the grill. Thanks!

I think they look fine! Those fins may end up saving road debris from cracking those expensive lenses to boot! I run my covers most of the time, but I painted them as I hated the white & black look!

Not too sure about that look. Reminds me a little of the R53 mods back in the days when everything was checkered flags.

I thought the plain driving lights look......well a little plain. Wanted to give them a punch. They grow on you and no one else has them!

These seem to be useless gadgets found on the cheap $40.00 fog and driving lights sets sold back in the 80's.

A black mesh should look far better if these driving lights are just for show and you never have to drive on dark roads.

Sorry Gregory. It's a solid no for me, but that's one of the great things about a Mini. You can do what you want with it. The only important thing is if you like it.

Thanks for all the comments. The front of this car is visually "busy" anyway. I think I may leave then off!

The word "pimped" should never be used to describe anything on a MINI. That's for old Honda Civics with fart pipes.

Looks good, might even save them from rocks and stuff. But I wonder is the light output is blocked more?
