Carbon Edition Paint Touch Up

Well just bought my first mini cooper s carbon edition yesterday, got home and looks like some little paint chips happened on my rear right side of the bumper :/
Looking to touch up, does anyone know anyone in socal that can do this?

Did you buy it new? If so, I would let the dealer take care of it.

Looks like a total re-spray of the bumper will be needed......This can be $$$ if done correctly at an auto body shop.

Where in SoCal are you located? I took my spoiler accents to a body shop in Irvine and they did a great job. Decent pricing too. Irvine Mini uses them, so they are familiar with all Mini color codes.

Irvine is a little far, I'm in West LA but thanks for the info!

I really don't think it needs a complete re-spray, I got a quote from a body shop mini universal uses and it was $600

Was that for a total re-spray?

Yeah check with your dealership, something like such could and should be covered since you just purchased the vehicle.

How'd it happen? did you back into a bush, or up against a rough wall?

$600 is quite steep for a few little paint specks missing. I'd just touch them up myself.

There should be a lot of quality mobile touch up guys in LA who can fix that with an airbrush and blend in the clear. Most dealers use them for small stuff like that. Just avoid the guys who pull up next to you at a stoplight asking you if you want that fixed.

You can try touching it up yourself first and if you don't like the results, you can still have a mobile guy or a body shop fix it.

Thanks for the opinions guys!

Does anyone know a good mobile guy or someone that can do this in LA? I do agree the mobile guys should be able to do it, I would do it but rather have a pro handle it. Its not the end of the world as you can barely see it...but once I saw it its hard to not think about ha
