Question Power folding Mirror Caps

I'm generally pretty good at finding this kind of info online, but for some reason I can't, for the life of me, find anything on how to remove the mirror caps? I'm planning on vinyl wrapping them this weekend.

I'm hoping to take them off as I don't really have a place to park and do it where I'm not baking in the sun.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Youtube is your friend. But I'll try to explain. Get a set of non-maring pry tools. Start at the top corner nearest the window and pry up a bit. Work your way outside and once you have the top clips off it should just fall off

Hmm...that's always the first place I check...I've learned so much from the Tube. Regrettably, the only ones that popped up weren't for power folding or any Gen 2...only Gen 1 or non power folding. I just wasn't sure if I needed to remove the actual mirror first or if they just popped off.

I will head to Harbor Freight and pick up a set of plastic pry tools. Been needed a reason to get some anyway.

Thanks for the insight!
