Looking at my engine bay. Well, it's really pretty boring with a lot of black plastic. Even if the air intake cover was brushed stainless or the main engine cover was red!
Anyone done anything or seen anyone that has...post your pics.
We have to do something and let start it here...

You could easily paint the engine acoustic plastic cover, like that one guy did red. You can also change the a cold air intake, and also carbon fiber ducts.
IMO, it's not really money well spent, as only the Mini mechanic is going to see it. I'd much rather put the time, effort and money into other mods that if not others can see on the exterior... at least I could see myself on the interior.
