Tire lettering?

I want to color in the letters on my tires but I am trying to decide between white or red. My countryman is red, with a black roof, black wing mirrors and black wheels, so I am thinking the red lettering might work well with the red paint. But most people seem to consider white lettering as the go to.

Any advice?

I've been looking at these kits, and unless you have a whole lot of extra time on your hands to pen in the letters every month probably a better option below.

Tread Wear

Not sure if you have to rebalance the wheels and tires afterwards as its not addressed in their website....

I have the permanent lettering from Tredwear.com and mine DID require re-balancing.

Thanks, thought that could be the case, looking at this mod for next set of tires/wheels. Do it all in one shot.

Wonder if I installed 2 sets of letterings per tire if I'd still need a wheel balance...

I hear that....MINI barks at me from garage just after 2 days off sitting

I tried to open your photo to get a look, but image wouldn't enlarge. I checked the file, looks ok.
