Anyone tried Tein S-Tech (or High Tech) springs?
I have seen Tein mentioned, but no user reviews...
The S-Tech spring rates are listed as 224/246 front to rear. How does this compare with H-Sport, M7, and H & R?

I 'was' a TEIN fanatic...
used TypeHA's on both my 98 lude and 02
wrx, along with TypeNA's on my G20...but I sold the cars so now I
am left with a huge TEIN banner in my garage and no TEIN.
We'll see wat happens when im ready to mod my G35C... Im looking at
the TypeCS.
anyway, TEIN products are worth a try imho!

I have been looking into getting a set of these since I saw them on ebay, and started looking into them. I actually just called Tein, because they are local to me (Carson, CA). On their website they list only the springs for the Cooper S as being available, and I have a Cooper, so we'll see what happens. I'm not sure what the differences would be between the springs.
The reason they appeal to me is because I didn't want a huge drop, and the High.Tech springs only drop the car a little over half an inch.

I've had the TEIN High.Tech's on my car for about three weeks now, and I love 'em. Contrary to what the guys at TEIN told me, they're actually a fixed rate spring. The spring rate is very similar to stock, maybe a tiny bit firmer, with some extra firmness in the rear to reduce understeer. Ride comfort is about the same as stock, and the drop is exactly what I wanted. Just enough to reduce fender gap a little bit, but not so much that the tire tucks behind the fender on 205/40-17 Kumho Ecsta MX. There's still plenty of travel, but you will scrape that under-flap-thing on steep driveways.
