Cooper S tensioner shock

Does anybody have a part # or place to buy the tensioner shock for a 2005 s model. I know that it is made by Stabilus and has a part # on the shock of5754PR. I we can get the place to buy it would save us all a lot of money.

I've tried. US importer wants more for the bare shock than the whole assembly costs retail.

1 each was $164.
At 100, the price dropped to $131 each.

"... we are a distributor for Stabilus and they have asked us to contact you on part number 5754PR, we could order this from Germany, your cost is $164.30 and lead time is 4-6 weeks
Thanks
Mike

Previous threads say the AC Delco, Gates, and factory MINI tensioners are all made by Litens with the Stabilus shock. The AC Delco is $93 on Amazon now.

Replace that junk shock absorber with the Alta adjustable unit. Makes the belt a little harder to change but you can dial in some gooood tension which is nice for racing purposes.
