The side wall rear is the "pre-wireing" for the cd-changer, and/or satalite radio.
In the battery box, one of the plugs should bought into the battery "squib", basicly an explosive devise that disconnects the battery if the airbags go off....of note there are TWO + cables...on goes to the starter, unfused, hense the explosive disconnect devise....the other,ti the standard fuse box...the concern is a wired could be damaged in an accident.....
Left rear....aka drivers side...look at the wiring wrap...think it was an add-on....
Looks like I was correct on the CD changer... My battery box is removed, but it's in that area. It does not connect to the battery, but runs to the front of the car... The explosive device thing I do have connected to the battery, teal and brown wires. So, this one with a blue and red wire remains a mystery...
On the left or US driver side, with the connector taped-up, you think MINI just added that on for possible future use?
