I can feel the clutch pedal in my gas pedal

When I'm engaging the clutch and have just about let my foot off of the clutch I can feel a little pop in the gas pedal.

What should I be looking at to fix this?

Not sure how that is possible, the gas is electronic, and not mounted anywhere near the clutch mechanism. Is it possible that you have a wire that dropped down and is catching under the clutch and gas pedal?

I'd stick my head under the dash and push on the clutch to see if there is anything making contact with both pedals.

Yeah...mounting points are not even close....
Maybe a really badly rebuilt wreck...I could imingine the firewall moving a bit...
But at that point, I'd be walking....

I felt something like this and it was the floor mat riding up the pedal, clutch would squash it and tap my shoe letting up.

Hahaha, it was the mat. I'll just let myself out.

Lol....
Then again I think Toyoda had a recall for mats and gas pedals...

Ever since then most OEM mats have grommets that lock into thinggys on the floor...

Is there a mod for anchoring the mats? Mine do this every trip and i was surprised to see there weren't clips.

Even the 2005 rubber mats came with anchors....
I actually never installed them on mine....the rubber mats were so heavy they never moved, and I liked the ease of taking them out of the car to shake off....
