HELP! Can't Mount New 15" Wheels - Front Lower Ball Joints Rub! : (

Hi fellow miniacs!

I installed my megan euro's last weekend on my r53 and got my tires (195/50/15) mounted on my wheels (Enkei92's - 15x8, +25mm offset). So excited!

When we went to mount the wheels on the car, the rears fit perfectly. The fronts, not so much. At first, we thought it was the caliper. Then a closer look showed us that it was the bolt/nut of the ball joint. We saw this while the car was still on jack stands!

-We shaved the nut down with a dremmel and it was still hitting the rim.
-We did an 8mm spacer test fit and a 10mm spacer test fit and it seems like the bolt came in even closer to the center of the wheel and touched the inside of the wheel more than before when we put the car back on the ground.

I'm confused! I'm worried that too big of a space will give me wayyyyyy to much poke.

I lovvvve my wheels and I don't want to be SOL.

Any other suggestions? Please help!

You may need to run a 10-15mm spacer and a stud conversion. Many wheels on the market are going to be between 35-45mm offset.

FWIW the stock MINI "Holey's" are +45mm.

Thanks for the info! Where can I find a stud conversion? Is it easy to come by?

Oh, nevermind. I see you are talking about the wheel stud conversion kit.

Ugh. This is frustrating.
