JCW Brembo brake comparison questions

Hello all,

I was just wondering how the new 4 piston, JCW Brembo brakes on the F56...

compare to the previous generation 4 piston, R56 JCW Brembo brakes...

versus the 6 piston, R56 JCW GP2 Brembo brakes.

Obviously the rotors are not interchangeable between R56 and F56 but what about the calipers?

Just curious - I had the 4 piston (R56) and recently changed those out with the 6 piston GP2 brakes.

Have not drove the JCW F56 , sat in it and messed around.

But have drove the R56 w/ JCW brakes and i drive daily my R58 w/ GP2 brakes ( 6 pots ). The GP2 brakes area huge upgrade and night and day even over the for pots. But if you came from a R56 S , non JCW brakes, the 4 pots .. its a huge change. I bet the newest F56 JCW brakes in 4 pot are maybe a little bit better then the R56 JCW brake, but I beat they are no where near the GP2 Brakes.

Side note : GP2 Brakes are fantastic.

The F56 brakes bolts up different then the R56+ set up.
