So I had this code about 500 miles ago and replaced both o2 sensors with a Bosch brand and the code has come back again, do I need to purchase the OEM sensors to prevent this from happening again in such short mileage?

Yep, Bosch has been known to throw codes for the pre-cat sensor and typically people only use a Bosch sensor for post-cat and OEM sensors for pre. Lots of good info in this thread HERE as well.
