Lateral Seat Improvement Options

Just grabbed my first Mini and overall its a blast but surprisingly, the seat stability is poor. what are you guys doing to improve? any way to increase the stroke of the bolster throw? a few more turns and they'd be nice and snug. No, i'm not a rail. 200 lb normal guy. If I could get half as snug as the GTI I test drove, I'd be happy as a clam. Not forking out $$$ for new seats either.
Cheers

lateral seat

Not sure if you car has the sport seats or the lumbar support. My car came with the standard i.e. non sport seats and not lumbar support. I found a person on this site who just replaced his seat covers with leather covers and I purchased his sport seat covers. When I had the upholster shop swap the seat covers , I also had them install the lumbar support. Mini uses the same seat frame no matter whether a sport seat or normal seat. The extra form and shape (i.e. side posters) come from the padding attached to the seat cover. Also, if you search this site you will find DIY on adding seat lumbar support.
