Advice needed on a purchase of a R53

Hello, i need some advice on a purchase of an R53. The car has had many things done to it here is the list, my question is there anything else I should look at.

-New engine (less than 100 miles) installed by Mini
-New clutch when engine was installed by Mini
-Less than 1k on 4 new run flats
-New tie rods
-New brakes
-New belts
-New water pump
-New exhaust/valve cover
-New paint on hood for rock chips
-New rear end paint fixed by Mini due to rust by tail pipe

So when is there anything else I should be looking for or ask about the car?

Thanks in advance

Whats the model year, price and mileage?

Private or dealer sale?

Rust on the boot, under the rear lenses, bottom front of doors (12 year rust warranty will still be valid for 2005-2006 m/y, did that get done?)

New (crate reman from Germany) or other mileage engine? Seen the receipt for the rebuild? (I've done it at the dealer if you need to compare)
Reason for the new engine (loss of oil?)

The Other things you will want to look at will pale in comparison (cost to repair) to the scale/value/deal that you may be getting, to the point it doesn't matter if you have to dump $2K into refreshes.

New engine + install at dealer is apx $8K CDN... So if this is selling for less than that.... It sounds too good to be true.

I saw the receipt for the repair yes done at Mini dealer, yes Mini engine new with 2 year warranty on the engine. Private sale ($7500), 2006, 106K, less than 100 miles new engine. Mini picked up 1/2 cost of the cost of replacement .

No on the rust on bottom door but boot (rear) was done by Mini last year.

Just wasn't sure if I should be looking at anything else.

Strut supports installed years ago, also 1 owner car. Has all the maintenance receipts for life of car.

Sounds like a great deal if all the documents check out. Crazy they put all that money into it just to sell it. Could have sold it as is and made more money on the car.

Can't think of too many concerns with the original owner putting so much money into it. It's still a 10 year old car so the parts they didn't replace could still go, but I wouldn't hesitate to pay 7500 for it.

Yes, they put in almost 12k into the car, but job changed and needed something that would handle snow and longer commutes. Finalizing the sale next week just wanted to make sure their wasn't something I was missing.

They painted to trunk and around the taillights ? Did you check the door inner seal?

I will have to check that, but the warranty is still in effect and I would assume I can get that done myself.

I decided on this car based on all the work that was done in the last year. Original owner selling so I have the history on the vehicle plus the owners didn't abuse the car.

Wasn't the color I want but I don't color is worth pass on all the other good.

Justa headsup...The rust perforation warranty is not a guaranteed thing.

It is up to the dealer/corporate to pass/fail and they will also fail it if they see any evidence of previous repair.

Mini fixed the boot last year. No other repairs done to doors either by owner or mini. Owner did have hood repainted at her cost due to rock chips.

Welcome, had mine done, twice. Just have to push it sometimes, most dealers will do it if pictures are approved and everything for rust. Some dealership want the rust to show bubbles , others it has to have holes.
