Alarm light

I have a 2009 JCW Clubman. My car runs great but the alarm light on top of the tach is constantly on. The dealer can't find a problem. Any ideas/advice as how to fix?

It has to be getting grounded or maybe the footwell module is bad as that is not a common problem

It was on constantly. All systems checked out OK at dealer, but still on when left there. I tried the spare key and after a short drive the light went out and it has stayed out. I assume a problem with that key. Thanks.
