JDM tail lights

So I ordered these new tail lights. But there is something custom I want to do but not sure if possible.

The problem I have with the R53 is the reverse light being so low and not so bright.

What I want to do with these new tail lights is change the signal to reverse lights. And the middle light to signal. And keep the bottom lights the same.

Thanks for any help.

those are nice lights... haven't seen that kind yet, where did ya find them?

as for wiring , you just need to spend some time with a multi meter. since your not really doing anything drastic

I have these same lights, but the smoked version. Anyway, the problem is that you will have to change the LED's on the top to white since they are yellow to start with. If you managed to rewire them as they are, your reverse lights would be yellow.

I find it amusing they call them JDM... None of the R53s I've seen over here have those lol. As the guy above me just said, the main problem is the top LEDs would still be yellow unless you changed out the resistors (I believe, unless those LEDs are the kind that come with them attached, then you'd have to change the whole panel out).

I also thought about buying these LED Light bars and mounting them in the grill in the rear bumber.

while you could do those light bars, they will produce ALOT of light haha. There are some single LED's that you can use and you could hide them in the grills.
