I bought my girlfriend an alcantra JCW shift **** and boot for her 07, as a Christmas gift. When I went to install it, I found the previous owner had cut the lever and installed a **** which remained in place via three set screws.
Needless to say, the new **** does not fit correctly and it spins freely on the lever.
I am unable to purchase just the lever from mini, the entire assembly needs to be purchased.
Does anyone know where I can purchase just a stock lever or has anyone swapped their stock lever for an after market unit and would be willing to part with the stock lever at a decent price?

 

I think the Cravenspeed Short Shift levr is what you are looking for and would be your best bet. That or find someone who has installed it and will sell you the old stock lever.

 

I would love to have the Cravenspeed short shifter; however, I saw a picture that had the JCW shift **** on the short shifter and it did not look good at all. Your second suggestion is what I was hoping for.

Other then buying the stock shifter lug, you could try to find one at a junk yard. Replace it with that , 5112753810 , yea its all one part.
