I purchased the lumbar retrofit kit from ECS tuning for our 2008 MINI S Cabrio, but before I had a chance to install our car was stolen!

We have replaced with a 2008 R56 hardtop, and it came with sport seats that already have lumbar.

All parts are brand new in packaging. My understanding is that although part #s have changed these are compatible with most model years. It is the buyers responsibility to determine if the parts will work in their application.

Any chance ECS will allow a return on unused parts due to extenuating circumstances?

The thief entered our garage and took the key and then stole the car from the front of our house while my wife was home, on a bright sunny Sunday afternoon with people walking around the neighborhood.

It was pretty shocking because it seemed like they had been watching/casing the house because they acted in a very short window of opportunity. I had stepped out for 30 minutes and when I came home the car had been taken. Police report filed within another 20 minutes but it never turned up.

 

Is there a lumbar support retrofit for the 2015 mini cooper s with the standard seats?

@Goldsmithy, My understanding is that they fit most/all first generation MINI Cooper seats, but yes we purchased them for our R52 2008 S Convertible, so they should be exact fit for your 05 R52 also. PMing you now
