R56 Who has the best price on Koni FSD
I'm looking to get some in the spring. This is the cheapest I've found.

Wish I could give more info with the install as far as tips. I do know you need a spring compressor which can be rented from most auto parts stores.

When I was shopping, I found Tire rack had the best prices. This was when Koni was having a "nation-wide" sale too --- most dealers had "sale" prices.
You need a "special tool" to keep the shock from turning when loosening - tightening the top mounting nut. This Koni nut was a different size from OEM on my '07 MCS. I used a socket with an open end wrench for the nut and a hex wrench thru the socket wrench opening to keep the shaft from turning.
And, be careful with what kind of spring compressor you get --- the multiple, (3-piece) version can be dangerous to use on our short springs.
When you're all done with shocks, it's highly recommended you get a wheel alignment. You can get it back together pretty close, but I wouldn't put too many miles on it without an alignment.

NM Engineering has them for $691.12 http://www.nm-eng.com/231/2/0/1472/2...shock-kit.html Jerry has great customer support too.
Consider changing the rear sway bar to an adjustable 19 or 22 MM. The difference in handling is unbelievable and the FSDs go right a long. Easy to add while the rear member is broken down for the strut install.
I got mine from out motoring for $600 early this summer. They have a 5% off code if you subscribe to their email too. Shop around because sales prices go on all the time

We will be having a significant discount on Koni's for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. It will be a spring/strut kit though.

My friend Vic is selling a very slightly used set in the classifieds... Just saying, they are almost new, I'll even toss in the rear spring hats pre drilled to accept the koni's. If you're close to us, I'll install them for you for free too...
We have the Koni Sport Suspension Kit with H&R Springs with 25% off HERE. Offer ends tomorrow.
