As far as I know the Sport suspension plus option is only for the MC and not for the MCS.
The MC (MINI cooper) has a less stiff stock suspension.
Adding the SS+ option (sport suspension plus) increases stiffness by replacing the springs and rear swaybar that are similar but not identical to the stock suspension of the MCS (Cooper S).
The MCS only comes with one suspension but the actual springs are choosen at the factory based on the options on the car. Things that weigh more require springs that have slightly higher ratings. (edited).

There are indeed several suspension levels as described in the above posts. I really believe, however, that there are only two different size rear sway bars, 15MM which is standard MC and 16MM which is everything else.
The "sportier" suspensions simply increase spring and shock rates while leaving the rear bar diameter the same. Increasing spring rates on an axle increases stiffness of that end of the car just as stiffening the sway bar does.
If you have an MC with standard suspension you can verify this with a vernier caliper measurment of the rear sway bar. It will be 15MM.
Good luck,
