Anybody else have a loud blinker relay? Just wondering if anybody tried changing it out for another one with success.. I have an 05 R53 , Thx

 

They're made that way intentionally. It's part of the Mini 'quirkiness'! You will get used to it.

 

It's not aa relay...MINI's use the BCM (body control module) to generate it all...like most modern cars...you are gonna be stuck with it....

 

The turn signal clicking sound is a recording played on a speaker at the back of the speedometer. This speaker also plays the door chime and the ping when a warning light turns on. You can muffle the speaker if you don't mind bringing down the level of all the audio signals.

 

No loud a$$ blinkers in any auto in my area since no one uses them. In fact I believe they are an option.

 

Thx for the info guys.. I was just wondering because my daughter's 03 R50 is not as loud.. Now if I can figure out how to make it blink 3 times with one touch, that would be nice. I got use to it in my work truck
