They all seem to be inside the cars, admiring their chrono paks and cup holders, and flossing their teeth in the enlarged rear view mirror. I don't get it.....

This thread is starting to get buried. And since I just picked up my MCS over the weekend, I figured why not revive it. My MINI is even more beautiful than I imagined. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that it's mine, but I'll let you guys see for yourselves.

Damn that does look gorgeous... I'm not sure I could live with it day in and day out but it's beautiful.

I love it! I thought about getting the yellow, but had some concerns over ones I saw that looked very pale. I've wanted a bright lemon yellow car for a while, but I guess I'll save it for when I get my Ferrari F355 Spyder.

Very nice  I love the contrast of the black roof and trim with the lighter colors, if it were mine I would run right out and get the windows tinted and exploite the contrast even more !!!

Love that picture of HB... really brings out the color. And yeah, PH is an awesome color as well, I saw it at the dealer last week and it is incredible.

Nothing, man. I haven't heard back from NYK, and I'm not sure they'd be able to tell me anything since they couldn't say on the phone without a container number or a bill of lading number. And I can't seem to get that information anywhere.

That's already in the plans. My husband used to tint windows as a second job when he was in the military. So, he said he would break out the tinting equipment again and do the MINI soon.
IMO, the black roof is the only way to go with the light colors and the white roof is perfect with the darker hues.

Thanks.

I only got the chrome mirrors... Well, in reality the mirrors were forced on me by the dealer (the ordering system would not allow any other type of mirror caps if I was to go with the body color roof).

What about that pepper white/purple haze custom job behind the purple haze! Is that for real or is it just the color on my computer playing tricks on me? What a great idea. My wife thinks that Pepper white/BRG would be a great classy looking color combo.

Cheers,

I believe that's the Evil Knievel MINI. I have a postcard of it (one of the MINI promos a while back, which also included a Starsky & Hutch MINI). Didn't know they actually sold those babies. Sweet! BTW, love the 2005s ... the yellow interior is awesome.

Wow! I'm expecting a LY/B MC in about a month, or so. I always enjoy seeing that color combo. I love the yellow interior. Makes me wish I'd not taken a pass on that option, though I'm not entirely sure it's available in the MC model. I love the leatherette look as well, and...darn...that's ANOTHER option I passed on! (Didn't want my butt sticking to my seat.) I'm curious how well the Octagon cloth will look. Anyone with pics of that? (I sure wish the cloth/leather combo was available in the US, but I guess I'll live. Sigh. )

I'm still very unsure about the new Xenons. It looks ok on the LY/B, but not so good in the dealership pick...right next to a standard headlight model! (The chrome mirror caps don't look bad at all. At least that's ONE thing on my mind set at ease.)

Some more pics would be great. I'll put some up myself as soon as I'm able. (I guess I should break down and get a digital camera then, eh? )
