ISO Headlight Lenses

Hi Guys I am in dire need of a headlight lens for and r56 please help if you guys have any links that just sell lenses, I couldn't find it in the Market place. Please Help

Just the lens by itself isn't available as a separate part. You'll have to replace the full headlight enclosure. That's how MINI receives it from their parts supplier.

Edit: BTW, the lens piece is glued to the enclosure and wasn't designed to be replaceable separately. People who do the "Joey mod" (black out the inside of the headlight) remove the lens by baking the headlight in an oven to soften the adhesive.

That's what I did, but my lens was already messed up so looking for another one for

I baked the assembly three separate times (200°F for 20 mins), but the adhesive never sufficiently softened that I could separate the lens from the assembly, so I had to put it back for now. I'm stuck! I didn't expect removing the old lens would be the big challenge.

Never did find a clip I had to remove first, unless you mean the ones that hold the rubber ring/surround onto the assembly.

Might have to just dremel out the front portion and pick out the pieces at this point in limbo.

We have the xenon ones here: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-bremmen-...02347698lens~/ 275 degrees for 10-15 minutes for removal, and 275 degrees for 5 minutes to rebake after the seal and lens are connected. Then let cool.

ES#3619826 for butyl tape.




We dont have the NON Xenon r56.
