FS:: 2005 R52 (S Convertible) JCW Rocker Panels
Sold
Category: Brakes
Price: $400
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R52
Location (Region): NorthEast
Item Condition: Brand New
I recently sold my 2005 Mini Cooper S Convertible. I purchased a set of the John Cooper Works rocker panels/side aero skirts, but never installed them. These may fit other models, but you will need to verify.
I'm not quite sure what to ask. These are genuine Mini JCW parts. They will need to be pained to match your car. They are primed for painting as delivered. Brand new in the box.
Make me a reasonable offer and they could be yours. They are big, so shipping will be a bit pricey, but if you live in the Allentown PA area, I'm happy to have them picked up locally.
Thanks,
Lee

I appreciate the info. I don't want to misrepresent it in any way. I purchased them specifically for the convertible, so I'm confident they will work on the convertible. If someone knows it will work on the Coupe or another model, that's fine, I just don't want to personally guarantee it. ;-)
Do you have photos of the item? I'm a tad confused as to what exactly you're selling.
Is it this item - http://www.totalmini.com/forum/17-20...placement.html

Yes, that is what I'm selling. Unpainted. They are the JCW Aeroskirts with the side scoop, just like the pics.
I'll get them out of the box and take some pics tomorrow. Not sure how I got this under the "Brakes" category or how to change it.
Sent you a PM. Do you know or does anyone know if they will work on a 2004 Hardtop?

I'll look for it, and get it to you, but if you look on the Atlanta, and Pittsburgh, Craigslist, you'll see that there are guys selling the entire JCW Clubman body kits for $750. A friend told me about the company they were importing them from. In fact, the guy in Atlanta had 5-sets for sale at one time....Lol
The other company (eBay) has a beautiful kit, but it's fiberglass. Type in JCW S-line kit, and a blue Mini, with chrome wheels, will pop up ($280, plus $90 shipping).

Hey guys, I'm not trying to take advantage of anyone. They costs a bit to ship, and these are the OEM product. Make an offer you think is fare and we will chat. Nothing adversarial. I'm reasonable. You want the best price you can get them for, and I'm just trying to recoup some of my outlay and minimize my loss.
I'm a car nut, I've been through this with my VWs and BMWs. The OEM stuff is always a little ridiculous priced, but it's also a notch above some of the fiberglass and cheap plastic stuff you can find on Ebay. With a good paint job, you can make the cheaper parts work. I'm personally kind of a stickler for the OEM stuff, but everyone is different. I'm sure we can come to a reasonable agreement.

I agree; there is a warm feeling inside that comes with knowing everything is authentic. I suspect, however, with 3D printing now on the scene, we may be in for rocky roads ahead. In your's are still available next week, I'll take them off your hands (just found the JCW front, and rear, bumpers - $100, and $120).
