Coilovers, springs and settling

Three and a half years ago, I posted my frustration with uneven ride height after installing H&R Streets coilovers. Neither I, other NAMers nor H&R could come up with an answer as to why one side of my 2011 MCS is higher than the other.

I tried hard to learn to live with it and I managed, thinking that eventually the coilovers will settle and even out. But, recently I got a new set of wheels and tires. I went from 17s back to 16s. The unevenness of the ride height became more noticeable because of the wheel gap. It never evened out.

What is going on? Did I get a bad set?
