sun roof issue

hey guys, i just bought my first mini the other day im really loving it but the only issue is the panoramic sunroof does not open. when i click the button the motor makes a clicking noise like a window off the track. i was told it need a new cable or cassette i tried looking for the part but cant find it. does anyone know exactly what i need, and how hard is it to fix?

Sometimes it just gets stuck. If you push up on the rear portion of the front panel, while pressing the open button, you may find that the sunroof will open.

push up on the back glass or the back part of the front glass? i heard you can manually open them is that true?

so i pushed up the roof opened but now it wont close!!! please help it keeps click and wont move. i tryed to use an allen key to manually close it but it wont move!!

Maybe try pushing it closed while someone else activates the button.

i just got it closed there was an arm on the side that looks like int goes in a track, it was poped out. how do i know if its closed all the way tho? it looks like it is i dont want it to leak..

no its still not working, i had to force it shut, it makes a really loud clicking/grinding noise from the motor

i dont think the sun roof is closed right, i can push it up with my hand. please help.
