Tonight is the first of the Foosball nights! 7:00 at Webb Motorsports, all are invited. We'll have some BEvERages as well as Pizza or something to munch on. There's also a dart board, and some MINIs laying around.

for all of those who did not make it....here is the low-down on the happenings

First, this was the christening of the new regulation size table. Talk about smooth action, great bearings, and speed rounds!!!! So, Randy is the Foosball master, but some got by him. After several rounds of him spanking others, there was one real close "game point" round...7 to 7, ball in play, long volley, sweat pouring, players spinning, shouts, yells, everyone in an uproar, Randy and his team of Black Death managed to sink one by the Rebels in Red...that was the end of champoinship round one.

From there, came the regulation dart competition...this was entertaining as well, and as the season goes, there may be surprises for the winner of the dart competitions...we have something special in mind, so stay tooned, hehehe. There is our regulation line, and for those that are daring, we have "THE LINE OF DEATH"--2 drink minimum before playing. This is a frighteningly far throwing point, all safety gear must be work inorder to participate. It takes a real man with mad skills to throw from that line!!!

We have pics of the event and the shop, but Randy has those, and as soon as he emails them to me, I will post them up for everyone to see.

Next one is in 2 weeks I believe...more details to come.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the speed round on the Foosball...up to 4 ***** in play at one time, protective eye wear is a must for this type of action, and maybe even a "nut cup", hehehe

 

Here are some pics from the new shop. We had a great time at the first foosball night yesterday, and will be having regular foosball nights every other Wednesday at 7:00pm. The next will be August 11. Here's a rundown on the next few Webb Motorsports events here:

August 7 - 10:00am
Tech day including a pulley install, and a run through of the entire MINI workings. We will have the car on the lift and will discuss the suspension, braking and motor. We will also be having a BBQ, darts, and foosball I'm sure.

August 10 - 7:00pm
MINI5280 monthly meeting. We will also be socializing and showing off our MINIs - these things have a way of becoming fun events!

August 11 - 7:00pm
Webb Motorsports Foosball Night

August 20 - 9:00am
Webb Motorsports/MINI5280/RMCB5 Track Day at Second Creek. This will be a fun driver's ed event with formal instruction - bring your own car!

August 22 - 8:00am
SCCA Summer Autocross Series at World Arena, Colorado Springs.

August 25 - 7:00pm
Webb Motorsports Foosball Night

Thanks to Jon for all of the work on getting the shop sorted - he did the floor, helped with the paint, did the plumbing, and drew the "Line of Death" on the floor for the dartboard! He has been a welcome addition to the Webb Motorsports team.

He's also working on his foosball game!
