Challenge wheels .......

Anybody can share how they keep them clean and shiny from brake dust without washing the entire car every week?

What is/was the wheel options for a JCW Coupe?

Don't drive it.

Otherwise, use wheel wax on them to help the dirt and dust shed and/or wash off easier.

The brake dust is absolutely horrendous on the JCW. I have the black challenge wheels and thought it wouldn't be an issue seeing the dust....wrong! It drove me insane to the point that I have changed all 4 wheels over to EBC Red Stuff hoping to get less dust. I've only had them on for 300 miles so no real verdict on that yet.

Just use a dry micro-fiber towel, and wear a glove.

I think we all know what to use and how to clean them. I found so far that the EBC Red Stuff pads are still dusty. But the dust is MUCH easier to remove from the wheels than the OEM brake pad dust. THMotorsports had a great price on them at $130 for all 4 wheels. I'm told they will get better as they bed in. Overall I would say it was worth money to change the pads. If you're not a super clean freak or OCD about your car....save your money. Lol

You wouldn't have to wash the entire car, just the wheels if they are dirty. I put Akebono pads on my CM fronts and you can barely find any dust at all.

Either change your factory pads to EBC/ hawk for much lower dust. (Akebono does not have front JCW pads yet for the four pot brembos ). Or use wheel wax.

Then you can just wash the wheels afterwards on heavy build up.
