Can anyone make a sw for UNIchip to toggle between On and bypass?

I called up Unichip this morning and spoke to Jack. I am using the
program for stock-pully'ed MCS.

I noted to him the knocking I was getting from a bad tank of gas I got
from Shell in Roselle, IL yesterday. Ended up it knocked in Map A so
I took the Unichip off for now until I rid the bad gas.

(When you have bad gas, hit wot and car can not retard timing enough
to compensate for the detonation, the car turns into limp mode...which
can get pretty annoying and dangerous on some instances)

My original question to Jack was if he could program my MapA to be
stock and MapB as an aggressive setting... he said the Unichip can not
be programmed like that because MapB is based on MapA... humm...

I asked Jack if his company would consider building a bypass switch
so that we can revert back to stock map on the fly (like Utec
from TurboXS for other cars).... he said he would not be interested in
building such switch cause it could cost roughly $100. I told him $100
is not that much considering the convenience of being able to
switch back on the fly without having to unplug the Unichip completely
from the car...but he was not interested and was not willing to help.

Can anyone build such switch? I would need relays, I believe. any ideas?

I would try talking to a Unichip tuner. If map B is based on Map A, why not make A the stock program and B the tuned one?

As you don't really know what made the gas "bad" why would you want to run all of it through the engine? Why not just drain the tank?

I don't have that capability.... I know they sell pumps to pump out gas
from the tank...but then, where do I throw it out?

Ive been driving mildly the last couple of days and about down to 1/2 tank.
Will drive mildly until Im completely out of it and fillup using some British
Petrolium gas.
