2012 Justa R56 sport mode

Just being curious for those of you who own a Justa R56 with steptronic transmission. What's the difference when you presss the sport button (in your normal D) vs. poping the stick to the left (without going manual shifting)? They both show DS on the display.

When pressing the button in D, the steering stiffens up, the throttle response gets incredibly better, the transmission holds the shifts longer and you loose 6th gear. In manual mode you get it back but in auto, it is locked out. I use my sport mode in auto position exclusively.

in my 09 that all happens when you hit the sport button only
when you just move the stick to the left you only get the different shift points, thats it
it stays in lower gears for longer
you still get soft shifts from the transmission as the torque converter is not locked

with sport button you get the rest of the sport effect with tighter steering, it also locks the torque converter so shifts are super quick and punchy

there is a difference between sport button and just moving the stick to the M/S spot
but thats an 09, i dont think it would be much different though
