SOMEONE HELP!!! How to properly bleed all air out of clutch system

My husband just installed a whole clutch in my 2006 MCS including a new slave cylinder and he seems to be having a heck if a time getting all of the air out of the system, even with a pressure bleeder. Anyone have an easy way to do this???

Please help as he is getting super frustrated!!

There is a special tool to do it. The tool compresses the slave cylinder then you bleed it just like normal. So if you can find a way to compress it you can then bleed it. If you don't you'll never get it bled.

When I did my clutch I used the 2x4 block of wood method.

Place a 2x4 long enough to completely depress the clutch between the pedal and the drivers seat overnight.

I wasn't a believer but sure enough, it worked for me.

We will give this a whirl. We managed to get most of the air out, but it seems there may still be some air trapped some place. The gears are not engaging smoothly when car running, but do so when it is not running.

Holy crap... I'm not a believer, but I guess I'll do that. I didn't change my slave cylinder as there seems to be nothing wrong, but after replacing the clutch the pedal is very soft and I can't shift with the car on but I can with it off. There is a bonus issue that if I get it in gear the wheels wanna roll.
