Question about Scanners

So, was wondering which scanners people are using? The ones I'm currently looking at are:
ScangaugeII
BlueDriver
EasyDiag

ScanGauge is nice cause it's always there, and the monitoring features are a little easier from what I can tell.

The two bluetooth ones are nice cause it's a lot more info to be had, but I have to remember to bring out my phone before I start driving all the time. Not to mention I use my phone for music Could make it difficult... Thoughts and experiences please! Motor on!

I bought a cheap one on Amazon and rarely use it. Glad I didn't waste the cash on Scan Gauge. If I need to scan for codes it is ready to go.

It all depends on what you what to do with your device.

I use the Bavarian Technic Diagnostics Tool (OBCDII Cable and Software Package) it is a little expensive (Professional Kit MSRP $675.) but I have a lot of control over what I can do and I do look after 5 MINIs so for me this works out quite well.

Motor on!

If on a budget, a $35 odb2 scanner and the odb2 to USB cable with the BMW/mini software bought on eBay from rominia for about $50-75 will do it all....harder to use, but can do airbags and change options...

Hmm I hadn't thought about that idea. It's so basic but smart that I missed it! Lol, but a good idea for a small time DIYer? I try to do all my own maintenance. But Rominia? Unfamiliar with that.

I have the creator c110 - it does what it says but it is BMW/MINI specific so keep that in mind. It's cheap - used it to clear an airbag code
