JCW Red Springs

Category: Suspension
Price: $325
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R50, R52, R53, R55, R56
Location (Region): SouthEast
Item Condition: Used

For sale is a set of red JCW Springs I purchased new from Mini of South Atlanta and have run for the last 9,000 miles. The picture shows some normal wear and rub marks as well as the yellow stipes. They are boxed up and ready to ship. I estimate shipping to be about $25.00 and I can deliver to MOTD. Price is OBO and buyer to pay actual shipping costs.

I understand there were different rates on these by VIN, do you have any detail on what these are spec'd for, whether it's for a car with/without panoramic sunroof? thanks

They are for a sunroof car. You can confirm that by the yellow stripe in the picture.

Ok just noticed the R52 in the sig, but these are actually for R53 w/ sunroof option? Is there any documentation from the purchase?

Don't mean to be a pain but I'll be using for autoX and need to be correct for the model as I may run some natl events and want to avoid (unlikely but possible) protest.

I got them from mini of south Atlanta. There is no such thing as r52 JCW springs so I got r53 springs for the r53 with sunroof. I can see if mini of south Atlanta has records of my purchase but won't be able to do that until Thursday. From what I understand you can tell by the yellow band which spring rate they are. Hope that helps.

I contacted mini of south Atlanta where I purchased them. They moved locations and could not find my original purchase info. I know that we used the r53 with sunroof as my platform as there was not a convertible option. I know that there is a way to verify that by the markings on the springs in the picture but I have been unable to source a method. I think the best way might be to look at the markings from a r53 with roof and compare. I'm sorry I couldn't come up with something more concrete for you.
Thanks swimbaxter

No problem, thanks for the research, I'm looking into it a bit more and will decide soon... debating full coilovers and changing classes, no natl events... (less competitive, but more fun to drive and track).
