ipod/aux

I've been hearing about apple integration into bmw and it's all over their websites, but i haven't been able to confirm if they offer it for mini's as well, it's not on either site that it says mini, just says certain bmw's... also if i get the auxilary jack installed into my glove, and plug my ipod into it, will i be able to use my steering wheel controls to change tracks? it makes sense because the remote on the headphones can be used to change the tracks through the headphone jack, so shouldn't the steering wheel controls work the same way... the wheel sends command to HU which sends to ipod???

i heard something about the apple integration for the mini coming out sometime in the fall (most likely september). you cannot control the ipod with the radio buttons or with the steering wheel using the auxilary jack. the ipod itegration will delivers this ability but you have to wait. also i recommend getting DESION ICELINK (charges the ipod and allow you to control the ipod with ur steering wheel and radio buttons). it works like a charm! costing about $220-230 (shipping included) might seem a lot but i think it is worth it!!! i heard that "apple ipod integration" gonna cost around $150 but with labor for installation, i think it's gonna be somewhere near $300. hope this helps.
