I am ISO a pair of r56 front calipers for my r53 "poor mans JCW" conversion. I am pretty sure it is the r56 calipers I am looking for but be sure to correct me if I am wrong. I live in Kansas and I am willing to pay shipping if the price is right. Please help. Thanks!

Steffens you will want the R56 calipers AND the carriers. If a member does not have what you want then do a search on eBay for them. That is where I bought mine. I found an R56 that had been wrecked with 11,000 miles on it and they shipped them for free.

 

Good to know, thanks! So what does the caliper look like without the carrier? I am confused. Also the justa, and the r56 S are 2 different rotors correct? Thanks for the help so far.

The calipers on the R56 Justa and the S are the same, but as the S has larger rotors the carriers are larger as well to fit the larger pads. Depending on your model year you'll need different brake lines to accommodate the different fittings.

I can get 2 sets. Know where 2 totaled R56 are. This is salvage yards want to sale you the whole set up ( Strut mount down to the lug studs ) I could check on price,

 

$2k in parts comes nowhere close to the ~$400 you can get the R56 setup for, not to mention likely needing different wheels as well.

 

That would be awesome. I am looking for r56 S calliper and carriers if you got me a price I could also throw you a finders fee!

you could look at rockauto, they have rebuilt calpiers fully loaded for about $115 each some with carriers, some without
