On Thursday 3/19/15 purchased 2012 Mini S and took back to dealer on 3/21/15. What happened? Driving moderately and sudden lurch with loss of power. Freaked and went immediately back to dealer. They are not mini dealer and gave me run around not to fix but finally con vinced them to take to Mini dealer in Cinn.or Lex. to have checked. Has anyone else had this problem and where do I need to start with having problem corrected. They said they had put coil packs on and changed spark plugs but did they? Thanks for your time.

 

Yep, needs to go to a mini dealer. Fortunately you should have some warranty left. They will read the code and fix it.

No I will not have any warranty left. It has 88000 miles on her already. I was wondering about the sea foam treatment to clean the engine. right noe the dealer has her and hoping they get it running well enpogh that I can take it to a mini dealer about 100 mi from where I live. Thanks for your reply though.
