I just replaced the stock xenon units with aftermarket lights from ECS (thanks guys ). The lenses are shot, but the rest of the assembly is fine. If I want to part them out, what parts are removable and re sellable? I assume the xenon igniters and bulbs, washer assembly, anything else?

 

are they face lift or pre facelift?

 

Wondering If you could post up a few pics of those headlights on your Mini. I have an 04 with the xenons and the lenses are shot as well. I saw those replacements on ECS site and the good price, just wondering how they look installed.

 

You can polish the lenses. They turn out like new. Use the 3m kit that you use in a drill.

On the other hand. If you polish your old ones and sell them complete you will get a better price.

I paid $60 for a halogen light with a good housing and a good lenses. I took it apart. I'm still in the process of swapping just haven't decided if I want to joey mod or not.

 

gpwpat- believe me I tried. These were cracked also. No salvage for these lenses.

I'll get some photos up shortly. They look even better in person than on the website. Look better than my stock headlights ever did. I just have to aim them now.
