On Friday we (my parents) received a production for their MC cabrio! Second week of August build. September delivery. #1 in central VA. Price = MSRP. I think we have a week or two to finalize the order but here's what we gave 'em:

2005 Cooper Convertible 5-Speed
- Purple Haze/Black Roof
- Black Leatherette
- Sport Seats
- 16" Wheels and Tires
- Chrome Line Exterior
- Harmon Kardon system
- Multi-Function Steering Wheel

They also like Hot Orange and Cool Blue and may change to one of those colors.

When I was at the Oxford plant I noticed that some of the Cabrio's coming off the assembly line had contrasted stitching on the seats and the shift boot/brake boot. Has anyone heard or seen of this option? It looked really cool and made the interior stand out.

I too have ordered my 2005 MC Cabrio-no production # yet but hopefully will have it by October. This is what I ordered-

I decided not to do the chrome exterior package because the only thing I wanted from it was the chrome covers on the roll bars. I figure I can live with the black roll bars. But I think I'll ask if I can get the chrome only on the roll bars. I hope I have one of the first in Mo.even though the Cabrio is coming from Memphis

That looks like the same one we saw up in Rockford Illinois 2 weeks ago. And yes it is my car-they'll be delivering it to my house after it leaves Texas
