Looking for new shop/garage to bring r53. Ny/nj

For years ive only let 1 guy touch my 53 besides myself. That man is Dan Rorh. He is by far the best mechanic ive come across to this day. Honest, professional & a perfectionist. My only issue is the 1.5/2 hours that separate my garage from his.
That being said my 03 53 with 47k miles decided to snap an axle today & i realized that im going to need a pro a little closer to home for emergency repairs.
If anyone has any info they can pass along that would be a great help. Im in Rockland county NY so, someone in that 20 mile radius would be lovely.

thank you

No answer for you - sorry. Just a question - what does a flatbed tow cost to this guy? In the long run might be a wash $$$. Fortunately for me, my indy mechanic is a 15 minute walk from home.

the tow cost isnt so much the issue as the getting a ride back out to pick up the car when its fixed. im still going to Rorh for upgrades and basic service but, breaking an axle needs a closer solution.

I appreciate your commitment to one tech, but you don't need anyone special to change an axle; just someone honest. I'd hit up Yelp or the likes of.

Again, it's an axle. You don't need a MINI specialist, so don't limit yourself.
