New Rota's Going On Soon. Couple of Questions.

I really like the old school Rota look so I will be purchasing a set of RB's from Aspec. My Clubman is new with only 1,700 miles on it. I can't justify new tires at this time so these will be mounted on stock 195/55/16 run flats. Current wheels are Mini Rib Spoke which are 6.5" wide. The Rota's are 7" wide. Will these fit my tires? Any issues with TPMS? Should be a straight forward switch out right? These are the wheels:

Very nice wheel, one of my favorites. Your tires will fit without problems & I'm sure the TPMS sensor will too. Those are going to look great on your clubman.

I'm not sure if those in 16inch will fit over the brakes, I know we put the 17inch rotas on and they were pretty close.

Offset on the Rota's is 40mm. Rib Spoke is 48mm. Does that help?

I certainly will. Thank you. I can always use spacers I suppose.

Just put the Hyperblack's on my 05... Love 'em!
(These are 17's with 205/40/17)
Coilovers on Friday!

Got them from MachV (fastmini.net) for $640.

Fit is perfect and no rubbing at all.

Found this thread from way back. Looks like they will fit with no problem.

You will be much happier if you buy new non-runflat tires now.

The ride and noise difference is unbelieveable

Post the runflats for sale. Once they get a wear pattern you can't give them away.

Your new wheels should fit, TPMS can be transferred to the new wheels if done carefully.

New non runflat tires do not have to be expensive considering the cost of mounting and balancing runflats.

see
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey...=true&filter=y
About $90 or less per tire in Ultra High Performance All Season, more choices in 205/50-16 and 205/55-16.

You can either sell the runflats with the OEM wheels as a set and skip the dismounting of the tires or part out the wheels from the tires unless you are keeping the wheels for winter use.
